Around the League 2019-2024 Edition

The w/o Matthews stuff has always been cause for concern when it comes to extracting surplus value out of him, yeah. Doesn't mean he sucks or is worthless but his perceived value gets a pretty decent sized bump playing with Matthews. Hard to ignore how much of a hit that he takes w/o Auston and it has always been my main issue with the player beyond him being a little bitch of a human.

Everyone keeps saying Marner was shit this year, but he out scored his rates in 22-23 by a lot.

Over the last 2 seasons (23-24 for Pettersson, 25-26 for Mitch) they've had very similar offensive numbers, and very similar nerdies. Except EP does it without an elite linemate, and while playing centre.

When Auston went on a 65-70 goal pace run with like 58%xG with Bert and Domi on his line while Mitch was out, it said everything we needed to know about how much Auston needs him to do what he does. But yeah, Mitch's nerdies away from Auston over the last few years are just lackfuckingluster.

But Miller was 56.3%, Blueger 53.1%, and Lindholm after the trade 58.7%. Yeah, he's going to take fewer draws than those guys, and a lot of his winger shifts was super line style jump ups to the 1st line for Ozone draws.

This is also Elias' first career season over 50% in the faceoff dot. Was 44% before this seasons jump.
