Can't imagine another group won't just put another one together.

Yep. Sucks to lose CapFriendly, but we’ve been through this before when CapGeek shut down. Someone else will step in to fill the demand.

Though this is a reminder of how dumb it is that all the info on CapFriendly isn’t just readily available on NHL.com.

If someone else will build a replacement (which I don’t doubt) why couldn’t the Caps simply build their own instead of buying CapFriendly

Not really getting what’s going on here.
 
Why would they buy it just to shut it down?

Also, why would they buy it?

I figure this has something to do with the fact that it’s got cap in its name and is hockey related? That thing can’t make much money.
