Nice to have yet another reason to cheer against the Oilers.

And good luck to them. I’m sure that handing the keys to the franchise over to the nepo baby who didn’t actually build Chicago’s championship core, presided over its decline & destruction and who swept rape under the rug will go just great for them.

Just when their GMs were starting to make good moves the past couple years, they decide to fuck themselves right up the ass. Too perfect.
 
I wonder how the players feel about Bowman. Is Draisaitl going to want to negotiate with this POS or will he not care?
 
If you were going to hire one of the rape gate guys, probably more advisable to hire the one who was actually good at his job.

Stan is a nepo baby who inherited a ton off Dale Tallon who got canned cause of a fax machine error.

Yeah, it is pretty wild that out of the two rapey cover-up twins, Bowman is the guy that got another job before Quenneville.
 
I mean Quenneville could just be done, or one of those old school coaches that the game passed by, but at one point he was a very good coach and in the re-tread world that is the NHL i'd have very much guessed he'd get the shot well before Stan, where there are legit questions if he was ever good. The best things he can claim to have done are the Keith, Toews, Kane and Hossa contracts, one of which is very illegal.

He may or may not deserve points for coming up with equipment allergies.

He *seems* to be the reason Gustav Forsling in a NHLer today (else he likely would've drifted back overseas after doing the waiver rounds).
