Honestly worried for the guy.

Even when he was riding high and at the top of his game in Toronto, he was disturbingly hard on himself. The anxiety and self-loathing was palpable.

Can’t imagine what kind of state he’s in now after getting that huge deal from the Oilers and then promptly bombing his way right out of the league and screwing their cap situation for years right when they’re trying to contend in McDrai’s prime.

Way I see it, when tickets are as expensive as they are you either a) want to drink enough to forget how much you paid for them, b) you’re loaded or c) you got them free so you’re letting loose.

It’s been a while since I purchased Leafs tix.
