Curious what Carolina felt they could get him signed for, when they made the trade versus how much it would have cost to cement it.
Cause it feels like a bonkers move to trade Necas for him, but not being willing to pay what he’s agreeing to extend for today with someone else.
Be one thing if he said I’m going to free agency, but if you dealt that much for him, you gotta be the one to sign him imo.
Then again, maybe they just haven’t been impressed with how he’s fit, and his drop in production sans McKinnon is noteworthy….but man, unless Dallas is paying full pop, hard to see them not looking like clowns here.
They're going to have to give up Harley or Johnston... no?

As good as he is I am not sure Dallas really needed this. they are stacked upfront and their D is the weaknesses on the right side.
