I feel like Bergy has to be going for him, or at least helping drive up the price for him.

If the NJ fire sale has started...honestly, how about dumping Ceci and Muzzin for the best assets we can get, and then flipping them for Subban? Signed for two more years after this for $9m. Maybe NJ even retains a bit. He could be a good add.

Really? I wasn’t aware he was hurt, haven’t even looked at his stats. Figured he was just doing his usual more or less.
 
He’s a shadow of his former self. Unless they eat a third of his contract I’d stay away.
 
If this is PK for the next 3 years, gotta take Price over him, even with all those remaining years and pray he ages well. Rather than just throw $27m out the window.
 
Do we really want to give up Sandin ++ though? If the season was going flawlessly and we were trying to add the last piece to a cup team, okay maybe...but given the shit show the first half has been, that's fucking risky. Probably the bad risky too.
 
Nah, I wouldn’t part with Sandin. We need great cheap D, not another winger. We’d be pretty decimated on the backend if we tried to keep Hall beyond this season. It’d be Rielly and five league minimum guys. And if we’re talking just as a rental, no way I give Sandin or Lilly.
 
I’d be shocked if Dubas used Sandin or Liljegren as trade-bait for anybody. We need good, cheap D going forward and can’t afford to lose those guys.

But maybe you could build a package around Johnsson or Kapanen. But why would you want to? Hall would be a pure rental. We can’t afford another $10M+ forward.
