Geebus. 7 goals against on 29 shots, and he already had an .838 SV% through two games coming in to tonight.
Thing is, while I’d like to laugh at the Coyotes, it’s not exactly a feather in Dubas’s cap that the guy he targeted to shore up our goaltending depth is providing pretty much the worst goaltending the NHL’s seen from any goalie who’s played in the league this season.

He was a punt. The idea was maybe the guy was better than Kallgren, who is a 3rd stringer at best.
But yeah, we should have paid the price and picked up anything functional. Hard to know what was really available, but I'm still of the mind that something like Stolarz or Forsberg would have been a good idea.
Pot committed now though and we're good enough to get to the playoffs on just bad goaltending. Not whatever it was that Mrazek was providing, but just professionally bad is fine. Playoffs is a different beast though, going to need Jack to be competent at the minimum.

no but Vegas or a couple of the teams behind them could get hot the last few games. you never know.
