When it happened against the Coyotes I said the same thing. Apparently a goal was allowed in the playoffs in 2019 that was really a hand pass so they expanded video reviews.

Yeah they completely fucked up the rules because of that one game where San Jose came back and beat Vegas on bad calls I think.

now you can review major penalties and hand passes (or anything else)that occurs anytime between the last face off and a goal.

Those would be penalties, which they can’t retroactively assess. This was for a play that should’ve been blown dead.

Can't think of a deal in recent Leaf history that was immediately universally hated as much as the Murray trade.

Bad trade, bad contract, bad goalie...but it's still factually incorrect to say his contract is "equally bad" as Jack Campbell's.
