I think it was for Brodie.
think it was for Brodie and Jankowski from CGYWhat incredible trade did kadri nix?
eh if Naz was a Bruin during those years he'd be widely celebrated.Kadri was a selfish goofball here. We can't control what he does or doesn't do with another team. As a Leaf he was undisciplined and put himself ahead of his teammates. He only seems like some kind of goddamned hero because our top players are zombies and we want players who care.
same thing with Hyman. 5 goals in 30 playoff games in Toronto.
would be nice to come out on the better side of some of these stories for a change though
Maybe it's not the players but the culture then. Hyman today is certainly not the Hyman who played for the Leafs and Im sure you can list at least a half dozen others who are doing with their new teams what they never did in Toronto. So maybe it's a team culture issue. Maybe, despite the supposed media and fan scrutiny, the Leafs are just a country club where defeat actually does rest lightly on their shoulders.Kadri was a selfish goofball here. Kadri was the wrong shade of playoff intense for the Leafs
No he wasn't. Is Ekblad the wrong shade of playoff intense for the Panthers? Should the Lightning trade Hagel?
Everyone loves gritty players that play on the edge.

Tis a skin colour comment.
My favourite bit was when Naz got suspended for hitting Backes high immediately after Backes had hit Mitch in the head with an elbow with no call. The Backes elbow was as blatant as Kadri's retaliation.
