When have we heard of karlson to the panthers as common knowledge. I mean they'll come up with some injury to someone and get karlsson for nothing I'm sure

Panthers are currently 4 million dollars over the salary cap and have Eklad-Jones on the right side already. Whatever it is Karlsson would have done for them, they went out and trade for Seth Jones to do.
There's a lot of teams who could make it work cap wise, but I don't see a ton of teams who have the need/roster fit + Karlsson would waive his NMC for.
- Would he waive to go back to Ottawa? They could maybe use him..Zub-Jensen isn't exactly a stud right side.
- Detroit is probably a good fit.
- We would fit.
- Boston maybe but the cap gymnastics would be pretty impressive to get it done. They would need double retention or to send multi year bad money back
- Dallas a fit but the cap gymnastics would be even more impressive there....
- Gotta figure Carolina would do it with some retention
