I read that Maclean interview. I have no idea why he felt the need to say what he did. I guess he was trying to take the heat off himself, but it's just going to blow-up in his face.
There is no way Cherry said that to get fired so he could retire. He was doing the same bit he was for decades.
 
Cherry vs McLean is like Leafs vs Bruins for me. I want both of them to lose. Both guys are pieces of shit as far as I'm concerned, just for different reasons. Cherry is a racist and a bigot while McLean is a self-serving, back-stabbing phony.

If the media didn't throw a fit that Biden wasn't taking 2 interviews a day and Uncle Joe could have done a single interview every 6 months he would have looked great.
 
How did no team knock Tkachuk out of the playoffs with a known injury? If he was playing himself in the playoffs he would have been slewfooting himself every shift.
 
What happened to athansiou in Chicago? 1st year 20/20 then fell off a cliff, last year he was ~ppg in the AHL.

Injuries or did his legs stop working.
