Around the League 2019-2025 Edition

I agree that MTL should be good but lots of people are just assuming Price is the guy from last years playoffs and not the guy who posted a .900, .918 and .909 sv % the last 3 years.

That's what most people do in sports; they assume the last thing that occurred will just keep happening.

WPG is the only goaltending that sticks out as an advantage going into the season. And even that's pretty iffy.

it is such a shitty division
so i am not even sure we can trust the individual player numbers

i mean the best team last year (that is now in our div) was 12th place overall

Helly has been fairly inconsistent year to year. I wouldn't count on anything other than he has the ability to be the best keeper in the division. Their defense is pretty shambolic though...

I think Montreal has the best goalie tandem in that division and should be a strength.

armia is a guy that seems to generate a bunch but doesnt produce

byron is done

habs season will come down to if the PP is decent or not

they are a good xf% team

I agree with all of this. Montreal is a very very good possession team and that will help, but scoring goals is going to be an issue unless, like you mention, the PP is effective and keeping goals out is going to be an issue if Price continues to decline.

I see the Habs losing a lot of 1 goal games despite out corsi-ing the opposition and being a "tough out" on most nights but lacking the game breaking skill of every other good team in the division.

I need to know more about these Mexican supps. Asking for a a goalie friend of mine.
