Around the League 2019-2026 Edition

Show me these reports then. The only reports I remember seeing is that teams have inquired about Knies, but that the price is extremely high.
There have honestly been maybe a dozen or more posted here over the last two weeks from every clown in the media.

I'm surprised you're acting like this is news. I've been railing about them being bullshit in many posts, but now I'm definitely much more on the fence about it than I was before yesterday.

Read my last post.

Yes, those are direct quotes from him, and then the Dreger surprise yesterday morning.

There were a bunch of others from the insiders that all said he was trying hard to trade him. Kypreos for one, I remember clearly has been repeating it.
I did see one from Kypreos, so that's one. And by far the least trustworthy of all these sources (with the possible exception of Dregs)

What Chayka has said is very clear and obvious. If someone wants to come in and blow off the doors with an offer, he'll look at it. As he should. Otherwise, Knies isn't going anywhere.

I wouldn't want Trouba or Nurse on my team, but I totally understand why SJ got them.

They needed a couple of vet guys who can provide some stability. They don't have to be great, but they have to have a couple of bodies back there. The team is insanely young, and having these two guys to start back there and signed for 4 years each, isn't a big deal. Celebrini will be 24 when they expire, and it just buys them time for now while they build up kids and look for better vets in trade and free agency to bump these two down.

I mean it depends how and why you are accellerating.

Squint very hard. That’s a terrible contract.
Oh, it's horrendous, but one could be like, hes 25 and with top PP time i think he might be a top pairing D ( i dont belive this based on his own zone metrics) and unfortunatly as an RFA you have to pay him ( also awful)

But thre is zero hidden upside or mystery box to Nurse and Trouba.

Normally a big contract like the Byram one would maybe set the bar for other young dmen, but I think everyone in the league will look at that as an act of drunken madness that has no bearing as any kind of precedent. It's that fucking bad.
