He knows that despite the lip service that people are paying him by repeating the lie that it was a clean hit, if the Jets lose this series the blame will eventually fall on him and his selfish, get even move. Three weeks from now, most Jets fans won't be whining about "being robbed" by Parros, they'll just blame Scheifele for being a dummy.

If the Habs win, that is... If the Jets win the narrative will be quite different.

The Jets are without their top scorer for Games 2 through 5 inclusive and Jordie Benn is their top pairing RHD tonight. If the Habs find a way to blow this series now then there will be several new and unpleasant narratives from which to choose.
