Hurts more on the knuckles, especially w a rolling pin…Not as much as the couple of times my mom tanned my behind with the wooden spoon.

Rejean Tremblay, probably.who was the columnist who said true Quebecois cheered for les Nordiques and that were the Anglo-Jewish team
I had a Grade 3 teacher, a British ex-pat, who was pretty handy with a heavy wooden ruler. She'd call you to the front of the class, make you hold out your hands palms up and give you ten of the best.Hurts more on the knuckles, especially w a rolling pin…
The hate makes it great. Hockey needs more of it.That’s called a ballerina recital not hockey.
There is no NHL rivalry without blood being literally spilt - without it
Don't worry, Geoff will still be filthy rich and the market won't be split, merely shared with 2 less popular teams. If you live in Ottawa or Quebec City not one Habs game will ever be blacked out. The Flames games aren't blacked out in Edmonton nor are Oilers games blacked out in Calgary.we shouldn't have to split our TV market three ways, if Quebec wants back, pay us and they don't have to be in our division
Catholic school?I had a Grade 3 teacher, a British ex-pat, who was pretty handy with a heavy wooden ruler. She'd call you to the front of the class, make you hold out your hands palms up and give you ten of the best.
This might be the Panthers' year, you never know. Could be a parade on Las Olas Blvd. in late June. Hopefully no one brings an AR-15 to it.One coach learned from the other early on. Game 1 was feeling each other out. Chess match, how are we playing this type deal.
You know it, although the teacher in question was not a nun.Catholic school?
I attended a Roman Catholic school for 6 years, grades 1-6, had a nun teacher 5 out of those 6 years, got the yard stick from the nun and the beaver tail on the hands from the principal ..he was short and would literally jump up to hit us lol... i was an altar boy, the full gambit .. left the Roman Catholic team decades ago..Catholic school?
Kindergarten to Grade 8 for me. Also an altar boy (I discovered decades later I was lucky to have not been "chosen" by my pedo priest) Then I went to public high school (mostly because it was close enough to walk to - the only Catholic HS would have required me to get up early and bus so fuck that noise) and it was an eye-opening experience to be around people who didn't all believe the same thing. I've rarely darkened the door of a church since, and even then only for weddings and funerals.I attended a Roman Catholic school for 6 years, grades 1-6, had a nun teacher 5 out of those 6 years, got the yard stick from the nun and the beaver tail on the hands from the principal ..he was short and would literally jump up to hit us lol... i was an alter boy, the full gambit .. left the Roman Catholic team decades ago..
This explains so fucking much. You know it, although the teacher in question was not a nun.
We did have an alcoholic pedo parish priest though.
Meh. it wasn't that bad and how bad it is depends a lot on how much your parents buy into the bullshit. I was fortunate in that my parents were getting fed up with that bullshit at the same time I was in grammar school. So by the time I went to high school, we as a family were no longer attending mass (unless my devout French Canadian grandmother came to visit, but even she caught on when she discovered that none of us knew what time Sunday mass was happening) That's when my father told his mother that his living a moral life where he provided for his family didn't require going to church. And that was that.I've yet to meet anyone that hasn't been fucked up by that shit. The ones that claim they aren't are too embarrassed to admit it.
Oh I bet I can get a couple guys here to tell you all about their catholic school upbringing.
I live my life the way I like living my life. I'm moral enough that I refuse to vote for fascists and would never try to murder any of them. But I'm not so moral that I wouldn't take pleasure in seeing a few of them hang.Do you think you live a moral life?
I do.. but not because of my R.C up bringing. I study Theology after i became disenchanted with R.C.. even though Buddhism is not a religion but a way of life, it was the only one that made sense to me.. and that is how I live my life now..Do you think you live a moral life?
but you don't wear a mask nor do you have 4 boosters, nor walk in BLM or Pride Parades. #badpersonI live my life the way I like living my life. I was in Asia last year at temples learning to meditate. I'm with you on this one.I do.. but not because of my R.C up bringing.
