Around The League - 2024-25 Regular Season

The difference between the Vegas team this year and the one we played two years ago is remarkable. That team looked dead, spiritless, and like it might be about to go into a deeper decline. And last year seemed to back it up.

There's a case for a mercy rule tonight. Its almost cruel to Florida to continue....
Eichel will have a cup before McNopersonality

There's legitimately 4 or 5 teams watching the finals that are kicking themselves for what they did (or rather didn't) these playoffs.

St Patrick’s been blackballed and he knows it…

As well he should be. He's a loose cannon who tried to usurp power from the guy who hired him and when he failed he up and quit. Being a coach isn't like when he essentially did the same thing as a player in 1995. Back then there was only one Patrick Roy the goalie. But the world is lousy with ex players who want to coach. He's not special anymore and having success in junior osnt the same thing. Rian Kilrea was a legendary junior coach. As an NHL coach he was worse than mediocre.

Fuck me.

I always look at these guys in awe when you find out what they were playing through.

I saw Zach Whitecloud shaking hands with his left, not wanting to use his right hand. Broken thumb possibly.

Those teams dont have the will that Vegas showed
