Exactly. Michkov or bedard is fine because if they hit they are generational.

Out of curiosity (assuming the rest of the draft happens as they said who do you take instead of Benson and Wood?
 
Keep in mind Gallagher never came close the the offensive totals that Benson (and Cristall for that matter) put up this year.

Probably Barlow. Wouldn't be opposed too much with Wood at 9 either.

But, like, while I don't like Benson at 9, it's nothing against the player. We're a team that's already missing size & skill, in a prime position to take a shot on a player with size & skill.

Based on who's available, I'd probably go Barlow or Perreault at 9, Musty at 17. And in the absolute laugher of a trade for us to move up to 32 to draft a goalie, which is hilarious enough on its own merits, either Tom Willander or Daden Price

Thanks. Back to the real world. I'm hopefully somebody good falls to us at 31 and would hate for us to draft a goalie with 31 or 37.

If Michkov is there at 5th I take him. If Michkov has already been selected by the time our turn comes then it likely means that one of Smith or Carlsson is still available so I take whichever one of them is there. I'd also like to get Quentin Musty but it might involve using an asset and the 31st pick to move up a few pegs.

He came up at a different time but I don't think Benson is as tough as Gallagher. Maybe more offense but I'm front of the net? Nope.

I don't see him being BPA.
