I’m so glad that’s all over.
yup , now the summer of many trades is upon us
I’m so glad that’s all over.
Benson is gonna be really good. But we already have caufieldJust for fun: Everyone's favorite woke writer decided to partially steal one of my ideas for a trade and his selections were, to be nice, less than intelligent.
NHL Staff Mock Draft 2.0: Bedard is No. 1, but where do Fantilli, Carlsson, Michkov land?
Who did The Athletic's NHL beat writers pick in their mock draft? In this exercise, we predict the first round of the 2023 NHL Draft.theathletic.com
Higher skill level than 11I don't see Benson as anything more than a Gallagher
He might be, but at a certain point, there's a limit to the amount of small players you can have.Benson is gonna be really good. But we already have caufield
so? according to you if they don't win the Cup it is an EPIC FAILYes but the Habs have already beaten Vegas in a playoff series.
Exactly. Michkov or bedard is fine because if they hit they are generational. He might be, but at a certain point, there's a limit to the amount of small players you can have.
That is really really good though.I don't see Benson as anything more than a Gallagher
Probably Barlow. Wouldn't be opposed too much with Wood at 9 either.Exactly. Michkov or bedard is fine because if they hit they are generational.
Out of curiosity (assuming the rest of the draft happens as they said who do you take instead of Benson and Wood?
Thanks. Back to the real world. I'm hopefully somebody good falls to us at 31 and would hate for us to draft a goalie with 31 or 37.Probably Barlow. Wouldn't be opposed too much with Wood at 9 either.
But, like, while I don't like Benson at 9, it's nothing against the player. We're a team that's already missing size & skill, in a prime position to take a shot on a player with size & skill.
Based on who's available, I'd probably go Barlow or Perreault at 9, Musty at 17. And in the absolute laugher of a trade for us to move up to 32 to draft a goalie, which is hilarious enough on its own merits, either Tom Willander or Daden Price
Pathetic failure, not epic failure.so? according to you if they don't win the Cup it is an EPIC FAIL
If Michkov is there at 5th I take him. If Michkov has already been selected by the time our turn comes then it likely means that one of Smith or Carlsson is still available so I take whichever one of them is there. I'd also like to get Quentin Musty but it might involve using an asset and the 31st pick to move up a few pegs.Exactly. Michkov or bedard is fine because if they hit they are generational.
Out of curiosity (assuming the rest of the draft happens as they said who do you take instead of Benson and Wood?
We'll see. We have enough short wingers and he isn't BPA at 5.Higher skill level than 11
He came up at a different time but I don't think Benson is as tough as Gallagher. Maybe more offense but I'm front of the net? Nope.Keep in mind Gallagher never came close the the offensive totals that Benson (and Cristall for that matter) put up this year.
Wouldnt touch him in the top 10We'll see. We have enough short wingers and he isn't BPA at 5.
Hearing from my buddy that there are numerous inquiries for Roy and Beck
