Around The League - 2024-25 Regular Season

How much longer can Holland wait to do something to shake that team up? Gotta think that Young Jay will walk the plank this week. I can see Julien or Quenneville taking over (yes, that Quenneville).

Flip ‘em Monahan at 50% for a first and a cap make weight.

Or something for Savard later when he’s back from injury.

Doesn’t solve their goaltending issue, but I think they’ll need more depth to go on any kind of a meaningful run.

Allen + Savard for Holloway + unprotected 2024 1st + Campbell + throw in player to make cap work (Gagner ?)

It was a hockey play.
Yes, I've softened my stance on this specific play itself upon viewing it several times since and am inclined to agree with you. But we know it'll only be a matter of days when I could write the very same thing about another play where Marchand does cross the line.

Don't get me wrong. I'm a great admirer of Marchand in many ways. I'm just amazed other teams don't take care of him.

Hart is useless the way the Oils are playing team D

MVP Price of a decade ago cant save them
In all fairness, they do have the worst goaltending in the league. They've gave 11 more goals than what would have been expected by an average goalie in the league.

It also doesn't help that their offense is also shooting way below expected %.

So we can reasonably expect them to start scoring, I think. But I think the “more goals allowed than expected” is the natural resting place of their goalie tandem.

They are hung out to dry

They better beat the Sharks or Woody is toast

McNopersonality has wasted his career by staying in Edmonton, he needs to come to Montreal where we have no expectation other than getting to the playoffs, he will fit it perfectly
