Russian newspaper reporting today that Michkov will be able to play for the Flyers as of next season.

At least, if true, we will soon see if we made a huge mistake not drafting him. I think he's going to be a star. But I also think the same of Reinbacher after seeing him playing over here, pre-season, and with Laval. Has some rough edges to smoothen out, but clearly has tons of skill and competes.

if he plays next yr, will it be he is being rushed
 
If we had drafted him he would not be leaving the KHL unless or until we traded his rights to an American team. Russians don't dream of living in Canada. They want an American lifestyle.

If you mean, Reinbacher...my thoughts are the same as last season. If he legit wins a spot at camp and pre-season, he should play. He can always be sent down if he falters. I thought he won a spot last year, and so did he from all accounts. Apparently, he was pretty upset to be sent back to Liiga. Can't blame him, tbh. I think it was a mistake.
