Around The League - 2024-25 Regular Season

PK collapsed overnight , many other examples of d way before 34

PK was more of an exception, he fell off a cliff at 29, which is almost unheard of for a D.

It varies by players but generally I don’t worry too much until they turn 33-34 but it also depends on the type of player. Shot blocking D with below average skating, I’m not touching those past 30.

You cannot use one player as an example for another. Different styles, conditioning, injury history etc. It's a fools errand. Typically D men reach their peak in their late 20s, it is not the same for forwards.

Theodore has shown this to be a good contract and actually under market value.

But eye test and agendas don't ya know?

Back injuries will do that.

Way early for Wright. People in Seattle are not too alarmed. He had a strong first pro year in the AHL and has looked ok so far this year without producing much points.
