agreedWould have been more useful against Ottawa.
not when it doesn't help us in the leastMaybe, but it FEELS better when it happens to the Leafs.
Mario-Crosby-McKenna gotta keep that gravy train moving somehowsetting up to get McKenna in 2026
The Lord helps those who help themselves. If the Habs making the playoffs is contingent in a Leafs victory I'd take the Leafs loss and skip the playoffs.not when it doesn't help us in the least
that is sick and dementedThe Lord helps those who help themselves. If the Habs making the playoffs is contingent in a Leafs victory I'd take the Leafs loss and skip the playoffs.
It's God's will.that is sick and demented
Also sick and demented. If there is a god thinking that humans can think as the god does is the epitome of human arrogance and ignorance. It's God's will.
I get your point, even if I don't know if I feel quite that strongly. As I've said before, I know one guy who did. My father. He stated the very same thing you did, all his life. The Lord helps those who help themselves. If the Habs making the playoffs is contingent in a Leafs victory I'd take the Leafs loss and skip the playoffs.
Your father understood what the greater evil was.I get your point, even if I don't know if I feel quite that strongly. As I've said before, I know one guy who did. My father. He stated the very same thing you did, all his life.
You are kindred spirits. I'll reinforce it with a repeat of this story for those who might have missed it . A few years before he died, Dad was at a gas station, wearing his Habs cap. The young fellow filling his tank noticed it, and said he, too, was once a Montreal fan but now cheered for Toronto. My father looked at him, and said "My son, you were never a Montreal fan".Your father understood what the greater evil was.
If it punishes the Leafs, I'm for it, even if it does nothing to help the Habs. For me, if it helps the Canadiens, then I support it.
