No, they shouldn't have traded Eichel. They should have let him get the surgery he wanted, he would have been happy, and the Sabres would be in a much better position now.

Eichel only wanted out because they wouldn't allow him to get the specific type of surgery they wanted because it went against their doctors' recommendation. And as a fan of a team that has doctors that seemingly don't understand what concussions, nor its effects, are? I don't blame him.

Team was run poorly with or without Jack and losing every every year in the clusterfuk

This goes back before his surgery issue , his body language was poor and even reporters mentioned he would welcome a change
