I no longer care if the Leafs win or don't. I almost want them to win tonight because ive run out of patience with this timeline. Instead of being glad when they lose, I find myself getting angry at them for being so goddamned inept. Im getting to the point where their incompetence annoys me more than their failure brings me joy.

Besides, it's not like they're winning the Cup.

Bob has been amazing past game 2. Trouble with the leafs is their game 7 ineptness may not be a fluke, much like Pete Deboer’s success isn’t either

I only watched the 2 games between Canada and the US, mostly just to hear the anthem get booed. Had Canada lost I'd have forgotten about it 5 minutes later.

I'm just tired of it. I want them to be hateable again. Right now they're just pitiful and I don't want to pity them. I want to be able to hate them. But hatred requires a bare minimum of success.

I never truly hated the Nordiques until 1982 when they eliminated us. Had we beaten them every single time, like the Leafs do with the Sens, then there'd be nothing to get angry about. Nothing to hate.

Hating the Leafs merely for existing isn't getting it done for me anymore.

These playoffs are fucked , every third goal is a deflection , bad bounce , or some other fluke
