A longtime favorite - popped into my mailbox earlier this morning. So much going on in the making of this image, including time of day (notice shadows), and I'll forever be intrigued by the ~38-inch dressage whip in "dude's" hand. 🤔
 
Matt Black just won the Pollock-Krasner Grant, and I'm ecstatic for him. (We're from the same "neighborhood," kinda -- counties are big in Central California -- although he was born in Central Coast and I was born in Central Valley.) Pretty cool guy, if a bit intense.
