I'm surprised by that, hadn't heard you guys say anything like that over the past few weeks. Is this a recent development because of the last few games?
I'm not so much afraid of the Leafs as I am afraid of the Habs sucking no matter who they play if they can't right the ship before the playoffs start.

Would it be safe to say you guys are starting to panic? I already told you guys about a week ago that it was a problem, you came back with the fact it's just 2 games or so, no big deal. Still feel this way or think this team ain't built for playoffs now?
It wasn't a big deal after 2 games. Its a big deal now. I said at the time that it would be a big deal if it continued... And I was right... Its now a big deal.

That's not what i meant though. It doesn't have much to do with how many you lost but with the style you played against..Notice how you scored 4 goals on the Pens(lost 6-4), beat Buffalo and Tampa Bay(both play more offensive style) but lost to teams who grind more and bring physical play(Washington, Jersey, Philadelphia)..Every single team in the playoff picture right now seems to have more of that..That's why i asked if you think you're built for playoff hockey.
What's funny about that? I'm admitting that I'm worried now but I wasn't worried after 2 games? Do you panic every time the Leafs have 2 shitty games in a row? I bet not. But I bet you worry after 6 shitty games.

Those games you bring up are games that came after the 2 games that didn't have me panicking. Imo it's not a matter of style or whether or not we are built for the playoffs. If the Habs play like they did for the first 40 games they can win in the playoffs. If they play like they have over the past 6 games they can't compete with anyone in the regular season or playoffs.

Now see to me this is either an excuse or you don't know much about how the game works. Why wouldn't the Habs play their best? You make it seem like it's not important to have physical play, puck possession, shot blocking and so on. I hate these "well we didn't play our best" excuses..Who goes into games not giving their all? You also seem to forget that teams are much more relaxed and willing to take chances in the first 30 games or so...Once it gets closer to playoff hockey everyone starts to tighten up because points are that much more important. Keep thinking that you're losing because you're just playing bad and not because you don't have good enough players.

I agree with this... I think you overstated a bit but its true that they aren't a very gritty team. They don't back down from physicality but they definitely lack in that department, especially without Emelin.
I think when they are on their game they can beat almost anyone with speed and "dancing" but they haven't shown that in a couple weeks now so I have my doubts.
