Claude Julien is new coach of the Habs

This was something that stood out for me. I was reading in the newspaper this morning that Gallagher, in vacation back home in vancouver, reached out to Lucic (you tell me how he can have Lucic's personal contact information, let alone try to be friend with the guy) to see how Julien was. Lucic only had good things to say about Julien, saying that the guy respect his players. So I'm not suprised to hear that some players, even those he wasn't playing much, were sad to see him go.
 
I found Lucic to be a cool dude off the ice. A psycho on skates tho.

They're both former Vancouver Giants and local Vancouver boys. Gally's dad was a trainer with the Giants so he'd know Lucic well.

Lucic and Gallagher knew each other from the Vancouver Giants. Gallagher's dad was a strength coach for the team, so Lucic knew Gallagher even before he joined the club. Lucic told the Bruins to draft him. They didn't listen.

Man, that Bergy presser was heavy. He was shaken a few times. I kind of like that he didn't hold back on the emotional level.

Never ran into him....for some reason, heard him interviewed at length a few times and he definitely doesn't sound like your average, boring hockey player. Very thoughtful, aware, insightful. Couldn't believe he was the same dude who enjoys spearing guys in the nuts.

Again Babcock set the bar high for the rest. I guess AV is 4th with 4m per year. He is richer than Max now lol
