Damn that was hard to watch. And the ending isn’t nearly enough to make up for all that pain. But I want to win three more rounds here and add another 5 minutes to that video. Then it’ll really be something.
I love these guys. I really do. Wish Engvall and Sandin were still part of the group but I’ll tell myself we traded them for Knies. Feels like they’re capable of something special here.
And let’s not kid ourselves. TB was probably as tough or tougher than anyone we’d meet in the next three rounds. Except maybe Boston, and they’re up next. Win the next round and they have to be the favorites to win it all.

Honestly can’t recall the last time I looked forward more to an NHL game not involving the Leafs.
I hope they beat the shit out of each other and go to quintuple-OT.

The O’Reilly/Acciari combo hasn’t looked as good as I’d hoped at 5-on-5 so far, but no doubt they’re miles ahead of the third lines we’ve run out there in recent playoff runs.
