We’re getting swept, aren’t we? In a series that we went into as the favourite.
Would definitely be an ingenious Leafy-as-fuck way to ratchet up the humiliation for Leaf fans, in order to compensate for finally winning a round.

While nobody has played great, the biggest dissappointments this series have to be Marner and Tavares, who not only haven't produced but have been soundly outplayed out there despite having cushy usage. That's a lot of money spent on legit negatives.
The other huge dissappointment, through both series so far, is that what had been one of our big strengths all year long has turned into a huge liability game in game out - our bottom defense pair. Not sure how it happened tbh.
and man thank god florida's 4th line is unplayable and have given us a goal every game despite almost no minutes, or else we'd look even worse.

It's almost like that was easily forseeable and some of us were warning about this in fucking January when we were running him out there as a top 4 every night for no fucking reason.
I didn't think I could dislike another coach as much as I disliked Babcock by the end, but here we are.

I mean 0 goals from Matthews, Marner, Tavares, Willy and Reilly says it all. Those guys were among the best players in the league round 1 and we won.
