Apparently 1.2 million Finnish viewers watched the Finland v Sweden game (the game started at 10:30pm local time)

I haven't seen any numbers for Swedish or North American viewership for that game so far.

The 4 Nations didn't get interesting until it became political.

Sports is tedious unless there's hatred involved. The hate makes it great. That's why seeing the Habs beat Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, or Boston is more satisfying than seeing them beat San Jose or New Jersey. I dont hate the Sharks or Devils. They neither please nor offend me so beating them or losing to them doesn't affect me much.

The others? Not so much.

You’re not wrong. Hate, dislike or any form of negative energy does make it better. I was barely interested in the tournament until the Tkachuks decided to make a statement. Then I became invested.
