US teams often blow their brains out in round robin, did it in 2002 and 2010, then have little left for final

it was an epic series, teachers brought in TVs and we watched the games in classroom and the gym .. and yes, everyone was dancing in the streets, I still remember the headlines in the papers.. Nyet Nyet Soviet..
