I was grade 1 and all I remember was we had a ton of penalties and my mom meeting me at a busy street to rush me home. Nothing else

I don't know how tiny you were in 1972, but that series was war. Canada had to to come back from 3 elimintation games to win the series.
When Henderson scored in game 8, people ran out into the streets.

No one ran out anywhere last night. As satisfying a finish as it was.
