GDT #2: 4/5/22 - May the 4th

We really picked a poor time to play our most undisciplined game of the season.

Maybe Keefe should tone down the "violence" rhetoric a bit.
 
We said they’d win if Matthews and Marner showed up. They have.

tampa didn’t show anything scary tonight either.

putting Clifford back in will hurt more than it helps though. The 4th line has just been taking stupid penalties and not scoring.
 
PP and PK are killing us again, how many series we need to lose to fix it, one PP goal in 2 games not going to cut it not counting it was 5on3
 
Lost the nerdy battle tonight at evens but they weren't all that threatening 5 on 5. All good. I would have taken 1-1 after 2 games before the series started.

Not Clifford, Spezza for Simmonds is the change
 
Sucks but this one was pretty much lost by Simmonds alone. I’d bring Spezza and Robertson in next game as well.
 
Matthews never ever dives even though he's hacked every time but he finally went down when he got slashed in the hands at the end there and drew the PP.

He should do that more if this is how they're gonna call it.
 
Keefe needs to play this smart next game and play to his strengths. Kill them with speed

 
So Cliff draws in next game and Keefe takes Blackie out? And rotates Kerf around a bit? That's kind of how it feels.
 
Very disappointed. They had them on the ropes the entire first period, then that bullshit bounce for the last second goal.

Really fucked things up.
