So the 11 of 13gms on the road streak is finally over. Time to take advantage of some home cooking.
The previous back-to-back vs BUF was a frustrating and humbling experience, even though we eked out a win in one of them and even though the loss had a lot to do with Hutch. Still, we didn't play well, and could have easily lost both games on merit. We weren't awful, but we weren't good either.
That being said, those 2 games did come before the two major moves - 1) the return of Marner and reuniting of that line, and b) the creation of the shutdown muzz-holl pair and demotion of Ceci. Both those moves directly address the Eichel matchup, so if they do their job there then we really should win this one.
4 games against middling opponents leading up to christmas break. Time for some holiday cheer.
And man, it would be nice to get some PPs eventually.
Also: Moore makes his return tonight. Hopefully we see last year's version, not this year's shadow.
