GDT #45: JAN 8 7:30, Jets @ Leafs

Hoping for a quick bounceback, but worried that the jets will be desperate for revenge. We were only good not great against them last time.

For some reason, despite the slower sked, nobody seems to want to do morning skates anymore. So we dont know if AJ is back or not or if the lines are different, so I'm gonna say that AJ is back and make up my own lines:

Just looked in on the Jets season so far and they have been bad

They have only been above 50xgf% 7 out of 44 games this season

Should never assume two points are there for the taking but there is no excuse to not walk away with them tonight
 
That ship has sailed but he is still having himself a great season and is always dangerous
 
yeah I think everybody knows sandin-lilly would be an upgrade on marincin-ceci. especially Keefe.
 
I'm banking on them not wanting to wreck Ceci's trade value before they move him to make room.
 
Dubie is going to use all the time he’s got to put together the best possible deal, and then it’s bye bye Ceci and Marincin just in time for the playoffs. He knows we can’t go into it with those guys and no backup plan in case another dman goes down like Muzzin did.
 
so even if it takes until the deadline to make the deals, that's still a good 5-6 weeks of hockey to get the kids up and playing. not bad.

Man, I was just about to say. Full on golf-ball-through-garden-hose pregame suckfest by SN on the Jets. Disgusting.

I actually had to double check the game was in Toronto.
