This is something else Dubas needs to take blame for aside from mis-handling the goaltending.

It made all the sense in the world to take Ceci to arbitration and then walk away from him, but Dubas re-signed him for more money. Then the hope was maybe, just maybe Dubas saw something we didn't and that Ceci wasn't complete shite. But shite he is.

Then the hope was that we'd showcase him just long enough to dump him on another team. But here we are a few weeks away from the trade deadline and he's still here, playing every game and taking a regular shift.

Enough already. I don't know what Dubas's play was with this guy, but it's pretty hard to figure out how it was a smart one.

Yeah, Lilly is dunking on the AHL. Ceci is an okay, but only an okay bottom pairing defender. I disliked signing Ceci to the QO in the summer, he was never going to be worth his cap hit and between that and Mitch, it fucked our ability to add salary in net.

I only posted hutch's stats in games he starts, silly.
 
So much of the team is based on brand now. But when it comes right down to it. Winning helps a brand too.

When we are gunning and winning, trade for a goalie then, maybe a GM has had to much to drink, and gifts us a 1B goalie.

But you cannot be this weak in goaltending to be taken too seriously. Imo

If Andersen is say, out for the season. What do you do? Put on a Burke hat?

Its a tricky game, but really its not. Make goaltending a big part of your organization. Revolutionize the NHL Dubas. He has the smarts.

But like most out there, he forgets the guys between the pipes.

Many, many have over the years.

But the players know, and when they feel their goalie sucks, it sucks the wind out of their sails their legs and their sticks.

You don't trade for a goalie tonight/tomorrow, cause its buying high. Go on another winning streak and get a freaking goalie.
 
Maybe Dubas will address the goaltending at some point during his tenure. Wonder boy has cost us maybe 15 or so points with his choice of basically sitting on his hands and doing nothing at that position for 2 years despite there being an obvious need.
 
This really feels like it might be a wasted season, which sucks.
We're not getting higher than 3rd in the Atlantic and then...Tampa Bay round one, we might be able to split that at home but yeesh.
What's really horrid is we had mriles healthy we might be competing for the division lead.
 
As good as Dubas is, and he is good. Think of an org That understands the vodoo of goaltending.

Then you have an org... Word.

That guy in the net, is your confidence.. Your last man....

All I gotta say about that....
