it's funny that people are so concerned with calling me out for being wrong. So much so that they forget what we were arguing about.

I said from the start that this team needed average goaltending to be a playoff team AND that they were a playoff team. So you do the math.

If you guys are actually trying to argue that its now settled that Freddy is significantly better than that, well we know better than that.

Stop worrying about proving me wrong. Especially since so much about this team this year is going like I argued it would, while you guys pretend you were right about everything.

Freddy is playing very well. I have no problem admitting that and praising him for it.

no doubt. i agree with you and beleafer that many goalies wouldnhave withered here after that start. huge testament to freddy that he had the balls to fight through it (big assist to babcock there too).
 
We should, by now, have enough confidence in our mgnt team to give their decisions the benefit of the doubt.
We also have Andersen's short history to see for ourselves.
 
Impressive stuff from Freddy. I wonder if he'll perform better for us than his career numbers prior to this season. He's put up much better numbers than before this season for a considerable amount of time now.

You have a legit shot at the playoffs this year , unlike the metro division that is stacked our`s is up for grabs after MTL unless we shit the bed again with a 31 injury.
 
The Reimer argument was Reimer versus Bernier. And Reimer was and is definitely the better goalie, and Nonis's biggest **** up, even worse than Clarkson, was bringing in Bernier to take the job away from Reimer.

There's no debating this, and I don't even care what the numbers show. Reimer had a stellar season the one before Bernier showed up, and was the better goalie between them, and not a clear cancer like Bernier was.

So, for those of us that took that side in the debate, we were right, and I don't see what the point is of heckling Zeke over it. Team Bernier was just a total face flop - period.

Now, as between Reimer and Andersen, it's no contest, so the debate should end on the whole Reimer subject. Better than Bernier, worse than Andersen. The end.
