He's letting his "lesson teaching" with Galchenyuk get personal - there's no reason he should not have seen 20min TOI last night..none. Maybe Galchenyuk needs a coach who specializes in communication with millennialsto get him over the hump...dunno.

Based on the numbers that Hairnova posted, DSP should play as much as 51 when he returns if MT wants to be "konsistent" with his favoritism.

IMO a good top-6 yes, but not elite, the Habs desperately need. I never said "bust"!

As for TOI, a coach whose entire history has been based on "going with the hot hand based on gut feel" should have done so last night. Galchenyuk was the best of he Habs forwards "last night" - still doesn't make him elite...

When they are behind by 2 or more MT definitely should gamble with more AG. But its obvious MT doesnt trust AG in key defensive situations, so we wont see much of AG in close games or protecting the lead, not if he's playing centre.

He's been in the job long enough for us to determine that he will never win the big one. It's like having Luongo and expecting him to suddenly figure out how not to choke in big games when that's all he's done his entire career. Like Luongo Therrien is what he is: a loser. Give him Crosby and he'd still find a way to lose. Oh wait! He did have Crosby and he did find a way to lose, didn't he?

I don't see how people can blame the coach for this slump. We should have been 7-4 with average shooting % and goaltending.
