The Canes practiced yesterday with the lines as they finished Friday’s game. Drury and KK once again swapped wings. They’re not skating this morning, we‘ll have to wait until RBAs presser at 5:15 to see how the goalies are deployed.
The Blackhawks have something in common with the Canes; their last win was against Vegas, beating them 5-3 on Saturday night. That brought them up to 33 points, DFL in the league. It also pushed them ahead of San Jose on points %, they’re 31st. They’re 3-6-1 in their last 10. Tyler Bertuzzi leads with 16 goals, Connor Bedard has 28 assists. Old friend Teuvo Teravainen has 10 goals, 23 assists. Old friend Petr Mrazek has started 27 games in goal, he’s at 3.24/.894. He’s backed up by Arvid Soderblom who is at 2.92/.907 in 20 games. The Blackhawks are 29th in goals per game, 30th in goals against. Their special teams don’t stink, the PP is 9th at 24.3%, the PK is 7th.
