The fact that the Flames are shutdown thru the 16th with Covid issues is not great for the Canes considering they just blew through Calgary...this Olympic idea is getting crazier to consider by the minute...just say no to the Olympics, it seems like a bad idea right now when you see these outbreaks and setbacks.

There is more than a few guys that need to wake up from the scoring slumber and Staal leads that list...Svech is right behind him but you need balanced scoring and they just dont have it right now.

In addition to guys out with Covid you have guys playing sick. The forwards minutes are all out of whack and have been. Guessing Staal is playing sick. Aho WAS and now he’s out.
 
Can’t win them all and with everything that has gone on from injuries to Covid to non-Covid illnesses, I am ecstatic with how this team has played through it relatively unscathed results wise. Great trip even if they can’t manage a win tomorrow.
