What exactly was the ref looking at there? THAT is where you have to make that "on the hands" slashing call.Drury Slashed.. no call.
Best way to prevent Raanta from killing you!Habs didn’t have a shot in the last 17:10 of the 3rd period. That included 4 minutes on the PP.
Yes. I also reconned they would take that goal back after review.Correct call...Drury's skate made contact with Primeau's skate before the shot got to the crease.
Kochetkov offered Svech his hat after the goal.

Hard not to agree with what both JB and CM is saying here.Fast looks like a new man out there without Martinook and Staal endlessly cycling the puck without accomplishing anything resembling a decent scoring chance. Having Jarvis out there instead at least gives Staal's line some sort of creative skill and speed. I suspect the kid will get tired of watching his 5v5 offense evaporate, but it worked for this first night.
For all practical purposes, Noesen-Drury-Fast was the 3rd line last night. KK had under 10 minutes at even strength, Necas under 9. Bunting somehow had 10:30 but he came straight out of the penalty box into play. Not surprisingly, that line along with Lemieux and TDA were at practice today. Jarvis was too, but it certainly wasn’t because of poor play.Fast looks like a new man out there without Martinook and Staal endlessly cycling the puck without accomplishing anything resembling a decent scoring chance.
