I used to listen to Chuck even when in the barn. Them were the days.

Yep, most nights I used to bring a radio-enabled gadget of some sort with me to home games to listen to the in-house feed from Chuck.... that ended when he left... even with Forslund simulcast after that it wasn't the same, and certainly I wouldn't bother now.

I agree with Kurtz— that man cave call needed to be in addition to and not in lieu of. This was not a podcast and they’re not two witty dudes on a barstool with a beer! The fact that they blew off the folks relying on radio or folks who are visually impaired and rely on play by play, that was just irksome

They would have sucked worse than Mike trying to do play by play. So they did something else. I thought it was fine. But it would have sucked on radio if you wanted to know what was happening. But frankly it already sucks on Radio with Tripp-fanboy Mike who’s already not good at play by play mooning over everything Trip says while you hear sounds of hockey being played in the background including goal horns. They clearly don’t care a bit about the radio broadcast, and it was fine on TV. I wasn’t temped to mute them.
