I can't believe that there are people losing their shit about the fact that Allen is getting the start instead of Monty, especially when it all boils down to Monty being a gars de chez nous. This shit is why we can't have nice things. Monty had a mediocre camp and MSL feels that Allen gives us a better chance to win tonight. That's it, that's all.

To me, there isn't a world of difference between Allen & Montembault. While I think Montembault is better and has been progressing ever since he arrived here, he was still a .901 goalie last season.
And if we could somehow find a way to get Allen's value up so that we can trade him... Win-win.
