we lost him for 500000 a season, he made the offer, Danault rejected it, the offer was leaked and Bergeron got pissed off. As usual, he bent over for his favourites like Armia, Gallagher, 4th liners and 3rd pair guys but fucked over others. He also did not consider for a second that he would also lose Mole so we ended up with 1 legit centre due to Bergeron's misreading of the situation.
5.5 for him would not have been a cap mistake
if he was going to jack with Danault, at least make damn sure you have Mole under contract, but he lost both just like with the "first come first served" Markov get a dog shit he pulled in 2017.
