Sucks that the second rounder is next year not this year... As the avs are struggling (injuries). Could have been a mid round pick.

But Barron and a second for lek was great value.

Barron missed half his draft year with that blood clot. He is right handed, decent size, and a good skater. Plays in all situations.

Also don't forget he is 2 draft years younger than Harris, the same as Guhle (2 months older).
 
Not to lend any credence to this eastern scout anecdote but Barron really hasn't improved much since his draft year. Now some D take longer to figure it out but this guy is running out of time with the prospects coming.

The few reports I have read and the stat sheet says he has.
 
Defensively? He's as bad as he ever was. Which particular stats are you looking at?
