What a fucking game. One of the best Leaf games ever, aside from the fun, just on the principle of it, that this was the type of game the Leafs always, always would lose in the past. But they showed such grit, such hustle, such determination. They were not going to be denied. I watched it here with a buddy and we were just astonished.

What a fucking series Rielly is having. It’s like he was saving this gear all year to unleash himself now. He’s a fucking animal, a total beast. I think I need to watch the third and OT again tomorrow from start to finish. That was amazing.
 
Goddamn, I'm still buzzing from that game. Not sure how the hell I'm going to work tomorrow. Can't believe we pulled of a reverse Boston after about six of the worst periods I've seen from this current iteration of the Leafs in the playoffs. Just absolutely wild.

Gonna fall asleep trying to get through HF gamethreads. Just getting up to the 4-1 goal now. The depths of despair.
 
Hilarious reading through this thread after the fact. I gave you guys some likes on your best dejected posts.

Crazy enough, I still didn’t get nervous during this one. I thought for sure they’d get a couple to make it close but figured they’d run out of time to complete the comeback. Was pretty shocked they actually tied it, yet not nervous at all. After that, I was super confident we were going to win it. I’d love to know how many times a team has come back like that and then gone on to lose in OT. Momentum is a real and palpable thing. Felt like a done deal by then.
