There is something different about this streak for sure. The eye test, underlying stats and results all match. It's not just on the back of a few hot players (although some are on a good streak) but it's a team effort.

And, most importantly, they are winning against good teams, not merely beating teams as bad or worse than they are. During this 8-2 run they've beaten 3 recent Cup winners and, last night, the top team in the Eastern Conference. These are nutritionally dense wins, not empty calorie wins against shit teams like Buffalo.

Luv the win streak but another top pick is needed

A month ago we are talking top 5 pick now its lets make the playoffs

Stay the fucken course on this rebuild . Most of our vets wont be Habs and cant turn down good offers

Plenty of time to make the playoffs , lets build a contender first
 
I agree. Right now we'd be picking 12th or 13th which won't likely get us anything but a bottom 6 forward. But we might get lucky and get a Cole Eiseman type falling in our laps.

Normally when bottom feeders do this it is because of goaltending. I don't think the goaltending has been great. Sub 900 save percentage last night.
