GDT | Game 42 | vs Dallas | Saturday, January 11th | 7:00 PM EST

From Arpon

>>What Hutson is doing is not normal. Over the Canadiens’ last 12 games, they have scored 29 goals and allowed 21 at five-on-five in piling up a 9-2-1 record. Hutson has been on the ice for 13 of those goals scored and only six of those goals against. The Canadiens have had 291 shots on goal at five-on-five and 244 against over that span, and Hutson has been on the ice for 130 of those shots on goal and 83 against, meaning with him off the ice, the Canadiens are even at 161 shots on goal for and against.

I’m curious what last nights game stats w Hutson on / off ice were, and comparing that in a few days to this week’s game on Stars home ice - I’m expecting almost similar # if not improvement

Btw, I disagree, I think what Hutson is doing is completely normal….for Lane Hutson

He’s been doing this at every stop of his hockey journey, and that overcoming the odds has instilled enormous self confidence, so he’s not in the bit sheepish of the limelight / pressure.

In the 3rd period, Hutson played 8:14, including 2:44 of the final 4:51 of regulation time.
Unless there’s an injury or something miraculously goes off the rails, in half an NHL season he’s established himself as a “concession (franchise?) player”

His idol growing up afterall was ..Showtime
