I'm not saying he'd have made the save, but his blocker came within a few inches of the puck. He likely doesn't make the save, but he was not given the opportunity to make the save.

Lyon made a save like that on Caufield, couldn't have if say Anderson did the same
 
Anderson might get a first from Jersey or Eddie town.
Money hands some have suggested could land a first.
Edmonston might get us something?
HuGo will be busy. I can imagine three to five players moving.

Yep, going to be an interesting deadline. Is Monny close to returning? I don't think anyone's giving up a first until they see he can stay healthy. Anyways, we always hope more guys get moved and it's always less.

Last year starting with Toffees they sent out three or four? If we repeat the haul from last year I’d be stoked!

Savard will be highly sought after - people forget TBay gave up a 1st for him to play 3rd pairing. I expect Edmundson can be leveraged into a good return as well IMO.

With both gone, and brain fart Matheson back in full form, the D will be a cluster of epic proportions

Ya, we need to get an early jump. Toffs was traded Feb 14th and the deadline was March 21st last year. This year it's March 03, so maybe we'll see a trade shortly? But why was the deadline almost 3 weeks later last year? I forget if Covid pushed anything.

If he can even get a second. Great. I assume teams are holding out for the better D options so it would have to be to a team that doesn't get what they want
