As long as Allen is used 35GP or less he’s got an extraordinary record, but performance falls off the cliff thereafter.

Leafs only need a goalie for the playoff drive which Allen would’ve helped

It isn't great, but would anyone take one of Campbell/Mrazek/Kallgen/whomever Toronto has over Allen? Maybe Campbell if he played like he did last year, but not really.

Campbell & Allen are nearly identical. They're good backups if they play sporadically.

Would have wanted a prospect back, or next years’s first. They only have a 1st, 3rd and 7th this year. Very unlikely they part with the 1st.
