They don't need Anderson now. Having him on the team isn't the difference between winning or losing. By the time this team will actually need a player like him, Anderson will be washed up.

I think he gets traded this summer, but he’s been playing well lately. When you watch the Habs live it’s pretty obvious that he’s about the only one able to forecheck worth a damn and actually win puck battles on the board.

There is kinda a rush. He was actually more productive last year. And he will be 29 heading into next season. At 30 you are rolling the dice imo. I think he probably has 1 or 2 decent seasons in him but with the Habs medical staff I'm not willing to take that chance.
